At the heart of ABCM Studio is a passion for craftsmanship, sustainability and design. Each piece of jewellery bears traces of our Creative Director Malin Carrick’s vision – where traditional goldsmithing meets modern innovation. From the first sketches to the finished piece, every step is a celebration of the art of creating something lasting. We call this “The Art of Craftmanship” and it defines ABCM Studio’s work.
When ideas take shape
1. The sketchboard
It all starts here. At her sketching table, Malin Carrick lets inspiration flow, where freely drawn lines are transformed into the first contours of a piece of jewelry.
Nature, architecture and Scandinavian minimalism intertwine in delightful sketches that capture a sense of timelessness and strength.

2. The Studio
When the sketch is completed, Malin takes it to the studio (atelier), where the first handmade originals emerge.
Here, skilled craftsmanship and sustainable innovation meet, where every detail is fine-tuned to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and function.
Each piece of jewelry is a work of art in itself, created to feel as beautiful to wear as it does to look at.

3. Digital work
Using the handmade prototype as a basis, the design is refined digitally. Malin carefully works out technical specifications, ensuring exact proportions and details.
The digital process complements traditional craftsmanship and ensures that the jewelry is made exactly as it was intended – a perfect harmony between vision and reality.

4. Partners
Once the design is finalized, our selected partners take over. We only work with ethically certified artisans and suppliers who share our passion for sustainability and exceptional craftsmanship.
Malin follows every step of the process – from the initial material selection to the final fine polishing – to ensure that each piece of jewelry meets ABCM's requirements for quality and responsibility.
