The Modesty vermeil earrings are designed with inspiration from 1960s op art – an art style that explores movement, rhythm and visual illusions. Thin circles of varying sizes are mounted inside each other, creating a piece of jewelry that appears to float and move with the wearer.
Made from recycled 925 sterling silver and plated with 18K gold (vermeil), the earrings have a warm surface that highlights both shape and light. With a length of approximately 55 mm and circles between 11 and 25 mm in diameter, an expression is created that feels clear but never heavy.
